Sure it is anectdotal but I sure can't explain it. Maybe you can by
participation.
In my (western) city as I move about in daily life I've noticed something inexplicable to me. Aren't the donkeys supposed to be the party of the poor and oppressed? The struggling and overlooked? The downtrodden and hated?
I travel through 2 neighborhoods regularly (on the Harley ;-).
Neighborhood 1 has very large 3-4 thousand square foot homes that cost from 275 to 400 thousand dollars. In this neighborhood the political signage on lawns favors the Obamatrons nearly 3-1.
Neighborhood 2 would probably be described as "working class" and has small ranch style homes between 950 and 1850 square feet that cost between 120 and 200 thousand dollars. The political signage there is nearly 4-1 in favor of McCain.
Something here doesn't compute. Who
can and will explain it for us?
